I should've mentioned that there is a concrete truck on the highway in the original photo too. It was so obvious when looking at at it in lightroom. At the time it I had no idea it was there ! :)

For me, at first I thought it was a window until reading your description. I found it interesting that the mirrored image was so clear, except for that slight blur of the reflection. I observed that there is so much green it is difficult for my eye to focus on a single object where one plant starts and another ends on the further away trees, bushes, etc. Too bad they didn't have more flowered plants. It was a very clever use of the mirror. |

I like the shutter speed setting allowing the viewer to see the blur of the speeding train, and the black and white of those on the sidewalk vs the color of the train really creates a lot of contrast, and more because the train is red. For me, there was some added interest in lines; lines on the floor matching lines of the lights above, straight line of the train.
I personally find it interesting that clubs do photo workshops to improve photography as a group. |

I felt it was almost looking at a person thru rain that the bamboo gives. I liked how it was done, and he looks very intense on reading something, and gives the a sort of border around a picture in the window of then your picture (picture in picture? :) )
The white in the bamboo around a dark border makes the subject stand out. |

I'm assuming that the mirrors is part of the door, and it's interesting that it was there. I felt that maybe a little more light might have been used, or a different angle, as there is some light on the left side that gives the impression of the object darker than what it might be. |

I liked the mirror subject matter with the photo, and found the border and text really made a nice touch to the photograph. I found the dark border really made the figurine and mirror stand out.

That's a clever idea. I took a PSA Still Life class and one lesson was using a mirror for a still life photo. The shadows and light are very different. I liked that the original was included showing what was used.
To me, I would've tried to keep the hands from the photo, as my eye seems to focus more on them than the screen. |
