You have turned two potentially good photos into a most beautiful seascape Your ability to see that potential is something that cannot easily be taught. Your result blends the two together perfectly. There is nothing here to really be critical about, but I'll put in my 2cents.
I find the buildings on the pier to be a little distracting, especially the one with the sign. I wish the beach walker was 50yards closer, but I think he is too small to clone.
I checked your originals and question why you are shooting such small files? With pictures like this you want to be able to enlarge them to poster size. When attempting this with 72 dpi files the photo will every pixilated. In the short period of time that I've been a PSA member. I've noticed your preference for landscapes. I would very seriously recommend that you familiarize yourself with a technique called (luminosity masking) .ADP (aaron dowling) offers an immense amount of info on the web. This is the end all technique (particularly for landscaping) The results are startling. It's the only thing you need to know. |

When I saw the original, I was disappointed that you'd not included more of this beautifully eerie photo. I played around with it and made the stone and foreground quite a bit bigger, combined the two and put a light haze over the bkgd. I stopped there, but thought this photo had lots of potential. Nice effect |

Marti's technique produced a beautiful image, but unfortunately. it's like Russian Roulette. You keep pulling the trigger and hope something happens. Most times the result is not so pleasing and you keep clicking away. I do not find this to be Creative in any way. Your computer is in control. This is not Photography………NOT my thing |

I agree with Jerry. Backshots are no where near as interesting. I don't think the girl adds anything and tighter cropping might help.
the good shot was there but sometimes the photographer is out of place. Encourage more kissing and scoot around to the other side. |

Rodeo shots are very popular in my club. Lots of action but they all seem to have a background of cowboys sitting on a fence filled with advertisements. To get the good shot you have to be crazy enough to get in the ring and isolate the rider and animal. Without being able to use the proper equipment, the problem is worse. The solution is jumping in there and be ready to run. |
