Good capture Erik. Good selection on the shutter speed. Was your finger tired from pressing the shutter release for 3,900+ images. Wow! I hope you has more fun than the people in the crowd are expressing! Thanks for sharing! |

Very interesting Guy. My first thought was to do post work (selecting and moving the right side leftward) to make them exactly mirror (or in this case glass) images. But the more I looked at it the more I liked it the way it is. Here is one more thought - DxO, and perhaps On1, has a "Midnight" preselect. It might be interesting if one side was daylight and the other side night. Just a thought! Thanks for making my brain do some work! |

Ian, I'm glad that you're feeling somewhat better and hope that it continues. To my eye there are two great strengths of this image. First, the S curve that Guy has mentioned really leads the eye from one end of the picture to the other. Second the shutter speed you chose gives a softness of the water that has a very calming effect. Overall, a very nice image with both good technical skills and some creativity.
In an image that is dominated by green hues it is easy to get over saturation. You might look at toning the greens down just a touch. Also, this is just a curiosity, since in the western hemisphere, our eyes always move left to right, I wonder how this image would look if you flipped it horizontally.
Thanks for sharing and welcome back. |

Bill, this image is a cornucopia of color. A true delight to the eyes. I like what you did with it in post. It is truly amazing what I can do! Keep experimenting. |

Vella, this is a great capture. I also believe that Guy's suggestion improves it. To my eye, the two arms going up diagonally in different directions adds to the composition. The work you did to bring out the red in the ladies hair and the pot at the lower right are also good improvements in post. Nice image! |

Isaac, I really like the sequence of pictures. To me the first original shows a bit of the story of what they have gone through. The image you chose for the final shows the fund they had doing it. It appears to me to be a great photo channel this same image. Thanks for sharing it. |

Isaac thanks for the compliment but no, this was hand held. Takes much practice and the willingness to shoot the image several times. |
