Guy, I absolutely love the detail on the building in this image. Up close the building must be spectacular. Based on your description it seems to me that you did much to improve the original capture, (BTW I have done the same to the Allegheny and Ohio Rivers in Pittsburgh.) It is a shame that the timing didn't provide you with a sky of equal interest to complete the composition. |

Bill I love the attention to detail you have given with the lines. The bricks along the foreground wall lead my eyes to the left and the same bricks on the back wall pull my eye right into the main subject. You also did not let the foreground wall run out of the picture. The image is sharp and the sky provides nice contrast and some interest without being a distraction. Very well done. |

Erik, as we all would expect you have created another image with good composition, great sharpness and good lighting. I really like that I can zoom in even on my IPad Air and see detail on the closest jumper's face and clothes. Indeed you have made a group of 4 work well. As Isaac says the light clouds present a nice background without being a distraction. I have shot hot air balloons in the past as I know you have and it always seems to help these pictures if somewhere in the background some distant terra firms can be seen. |

Vella, isn't it amazing the pixel density and sharpness that the R5 and the 100-500mm lens have. Looks to me as though you chose the right camera settings for the capture. I take these kind of images and add them to my bird list list folder in LR. Thanks for sharing. |

Great expression on the birds' faces, especially the top one. You got to see a bird many of us will never see outside of a zoo. |
