Sanat, I like the sharpness of the image throughout.
You have chosen to title this as the "Monastery" - so I feel that you should do more to draw and hold the viewer's eye at that point. From my experience increased contrast or brightness variation between the Monastery and the surrounding plain might aid in fixing the viewer's eye. I do agree with Louis's comments - a "moody" or multi-colored sky would certainly add to the appeal of the image. |

To my eye Trey you have done excellent work in post-processing with the hue, saturation and brightness of the trees and the Lillies. I feel you have left just the right amount of background pines to create a "supportive" background for the Lillies in the foreground and the leaf-bearing trees in the mid-ground. |

Louis, to me this image shows a wonderful and believable color to the water. The composition of the moon the island and the water create a setting that I feel looks peaceful and a nice place to be. I believe that the exposure you chose was perfect for the reflected moonlight on the water.
I might have tried a 6 stop ND filter to give the water an even more silky appearance. From my experience, I agree with Trey except that it leaves the foreground too dark but for me still better than having the light standards in the image.
Thanks for sharing. |

Charles, to my eye you did a fine job with the composition and the post-processing lighting of the image. I feel that the river and the mountains lead the viewer's eye in the center of the image and hold it there.
If anything, and this is small, I think that just a touch more brightness - not much - on the fore ground bushes on the right bank you balance the lighting.
If I had this picture I would find a place for it on the wall in my home. Well done! |

Thanks Stephen. I thought long and hard about putting them in the same order before deciding for a more random orientation. It seemed more "right brained" that way. |
