What a beautiful image of the bird. I agree with the comments that the there are too may distracting branches. Of the versions suggested I would prefer Mark's and if you decided to flip an image I would again use Mark's. |

I agree with others comments that the image needs more contrast. See below. Obviously we don't know the standard of your camera club but, for me, I wouldn't expect it to win. If you are allowed more than one entry then enter this and let us know how well it did. |

i agree with Keisha and Richard's comments and I think Richard's crop has improved the image. Making the mask mono was a good idea. |

I like your processing. You have brought out the colours very well. Although this is a portrait your canvas size is more landscape. I would prefer to see the canvas to be either square or portrait. I am quite happy with her hair being limited at the top but I would extend the bottom of the frame to make it either square or portrait. For me her hair is covering too much of her face. |
