5 Apr 23 Comment I like what you have done in the cropping and converting to mono.

When I see a person I like I always take more then one picture, sometimes more then 5. There are always slight differences between each image. For example their eyes, perhaps closed or open, a slight movement of the head etc. To save on disk space I delete some of them when I see them on the computer. For this man I took 10 different pictures. The positioning of his head in this image was not one of the best so I was going to delete it. However looking closely at the image I realised I did like his hands and hence cropped heavily. If I was to be in the same place again (which I won't) I would perhaps take 5 images just of his hands.

5 Apr 23 Comment You did well to spot this image, I would probably have driven past. In addition I like the treatment you have given it. Well done. Apr 19th
5 Apr 23 Comment Well done Pete a great image. If you want to keep the lights I would flip as Jim has suggested although I prefer Mark's version without the lights. Below using Mark's version I added a curves layer with only the model selected and then pressed auto. It brightens her slightly. Apr 8th
5 Apr 23 Comment What a great portrait. The direction of her eyes, the shape of her mouth, her leaning on the wall the placement of her hands and finally her bent knee and foot all tell a great story about her waiting. Who for? Will he or she arrive? . For me you have cropped it too tight and put her in the centre of the picture. I would give her more space to look into on the right.
On the image below I have used content aware crop with a bit of cloning to extend the right hand side. Then I desaturated the yellows and sharpened Rachel using Smart Sharpen in Photoshop. Finally I added a vignette.

5 Apr 23 Comment What a great image Sophia. Your final version is excellent and I can have no suggestions to improve it. Well done! Apr 7th
5 Apr 23 Comment Hi Jim. I like your second version in response to Mark. My only suggestion to improve this version would be to darken the RHS particularly the window as it draws my eye from the great textures in the steel. I think you have cropped the right amount. Apr 7th
5 Apr 23 Comment I like the models pose and it was a good idea to create the border. The catchlight is perfect. I don't know if it's my monitor but she seems too dark for me. Below is a lighter version. Comments please Apr 7th
5 Apr 23 Comment Richard could you please provide us with a copy of the original. Apr 1st
