5 Jul 22 Comment Great image Rick. I like the leading line from the bottom right leading to the water and the out at the top left. I prefer Pete's rocks but Jim's water. For me, surprisingly, taking out the tree on the LHS doesn't improve the image. Jul 10th
5 Jul 22 Comment Another different image from you Barbara. The black line doesn't bother me. I cannot decide if flipping it improves the image. What spoils it for me is that the petal on the far right has no texture or veining and once I noticed it I am always drawn to it. You may be able to draw detail back on the original. Jul 10th
5 Jul 22 Comment If you are wading up to your waist in water you deserve this image. I think you stood in the perfect place. I also think you have the shutter speed spot on, as the water is not too milky. Of the images I much prefer Richard's version. Jul 8th
5 Jul 22 Comment Great image. I have played around with it but cannot come out with anything better than has been suggested already. I like "street" photos and there are a lot of interesting people in this image, different shapes, different clothes etc. I note the people wearing masks which is becoming quite rare here in the uk although cases of covid are high. 5 Jul 22 Comment Great photo Sophia. Pete and Jim have both improved the image. If it were mine I would use the best of each. For me I would replicate Jim's sea and boat and use Pete's sky (See attached). If you decide to print and hang it then you may want to remove the bird I have circled in red which appears to be smudged or you could replace it with a bird cloned from elsewhere. Jul 7th
5 Jul 22 Comment I prefer the original especially as we can see all the pilots. Well done! Jul 7th
5 Jul 22 Reply Thanks Sofia. They have races at that track once a year although it is part of the national championship. They allow spectators but it isn't advertised. Some parts of the course require photographers to wear a high viz jacket and have proof of liability insurance of $2 000 000. It is the first time I have attended. There was a serious accident at the race, the casualty had to be air lifted to hospital in a helicopter and the races were held up for 2 hours. The motocross image which I showed last month have a meeting 3 times a year on that course and is less formal. Jul 7th
5 Jul 22 Reply Thanks Jim. I have never used the smudge tool but will use it in future. Jul 7th
5 Jul 22 Reply Thanks Pete! I have just returned from holiday. If you look closely you can see I have cut a small strip between the riders to bring them closer. I didn't mention it but wanted to see if anyone noticed. Jul 7th
