I think the group have progressively improved the image with Jim's being the best so far. I am not sure what you mean by a "break" in the middle. In the attached I have done a content aware crop to increase the sky followed by a bit of cloning. I used the burn tool at the edge of the pond. |

Welcome to the group Jim. I love the picture and cannot suggest any improvements. |

I agree it is a beautiful image. I can't suggest any improvements over what Mark has done; perhaps he has slightly overdone the vignette. |

A great picture Sophia. Picking up on others comments. I agree with Jim about the water not being level. If you have only worked in Lightroom you should be able to straighten it easily. I took the original and used the line of the dam to straighten it then cropped. However because the "original" on here is such low quality I couldn't do anymore work on it. Pictorially I think the image is better without the other bird but whether you take it out is subjective. I think Pete has darkened it too much but I think he has brought out more detail in the eagle. |

I also like this picture. What a beautiful smile and I love her dress. In my version I have desaturated her dress and flowers to encourage us to look more at her face. I have lightened her face, put catchlights in her eyes and brought the eyes out more. Because we are working with a low definition image this is not as obvious as it might be. Finally I whitened her side teeth. I assume you haven't cropped the RHS as I would prefer to see all of the flowers. |

Like Barbara I am not good at assessing this type of image. However, I would crop some of the RHS and off the bottom but I am not sure how much off the bottom. I may have taken too much off. |
