I don't know how you knew I had submitted this to Group 50 in January 2017. The attached won Print of the Month and was in the October 2019 PSA Journal. I go to the rally most years. |

Hi Sophia
Welcome to the group. Looking at the various images I like (and prefer) the one you have posted for Barbara. However this is a massive crop and you may have lost quality if you have had to resize. Assuming you shot in raw I would crop first in Lightroom then use "Enhance" with Super Resolution ticked. You could try Topaz Giga Pixel instead with a free trial period. I would then sharpen with Topaz AI although don't over do it. I find on most images I don't need Topaz AI although it is excellent with something out of focus for whatever reason. I am surprised you have needed Topaz denoise as you only shot at ISO 500 but if you do need it then use it before Enhance and sharpen. Then do what Oliver (Pete) suggested. At worst if you follow my suggestion you will only have wasted your time. You could also use a virtual copy in Lightroom to avoid losing previous edits. |

Sorry but this image does nothing for me. I wouldn't have know it was a crosswalk as we don't have any like this in my part of the UK and so to me the hand and 11 are floating in the air with no meaning. My eye moves around the image not knowing where to rest and the picture has far too much black for my taste. The important point though is that we are all different and we should take pictures for our self not others. |

For me the image is about the expression on the man's face. He seems to be enjoying himself. I bet when he did this he never expected to be in digital dialogue. I suspect you have, quite rightly, brightened both faces in Luminar. I think you could improve it by brightening the LHS of the man's face. You were right in cloning out the people in the background but as Candia pointed out in my image it could be improved. The path on the RHS seems to have vanished. The big problem for me is the lamp between the two people but you could try to clone this out. |

I would not crop but I have cloned the heads which I am not sure I like, but I have selectively brightened the image. |

I like this image particularly the composition of the S bend of the water. You took it at a perfect time. My only suggestion would be to crop the sky |

Attached is a copy using the spot healing brush. I have also blurred the background and added a vignette. |

I would love to see one of these bull rodeos but we don't have them in the uk. I think you have cropped it perfectly and have made the correct decision to get rid of the wires and poles. However you haven't done a good job with this (see image). I don't know if you use the spot healing brush but I find this to be the best way to get rid of wires and poles. See
