This image shows how we can have a conflicting view of a picture. Some people like the pose with her foot, leg and the lines they produce. Others not so. I find the foot and leg a distraction and they draw my eye away from her face. This is not helped by the skin tone on her leg being lighter than her face. |

A good capture and well placed in the frame. Well done. |

I love this picture particularly the pose of the model. The colours of her lipstick and fingernails go well with her shoes and dress. As she is looking towards the left, I would crop from the right to put her on a third. The bright lights are a distraction for me. |

Reading your reply to Candia I can understand where you are coming from. I have often taken pictures with my heart but when I get it onto the computer my head tells me it doesn't work or even worse it takes someone else to point it out. That's the benefit of digital dialogue. |

I like this picture but reading others comments I would agree with Nick about cropping from the right but I would only take out the first section. Similarly I agree with Oliver about the contrast but I would only increase it on the LHS. |

The image doesn't do much for me but I am sure you had a lot of fun cutting the pumpkin and setting up the shot and that's the important thing. |

This is the original (cropped). As you can see I have taken out some of the people but decided to leave in parts of the two you have removed. I considered taking these out but eventually decided to leave them in. I felt they added to the story and helped to frame the two main subjects. I still prefer my version. Thanks for your work and comments they are much appreciated. |
