I agree with the others about the composition. I like the line of boats leading from the bottom right through the diagonal. I cannot decide if I think you should clone out the highlights in the boats on the left hand side. Probably I would leave them in. |

Yes I worked on the eyes. I uses to lighten the whites by using a duplicate layer changing the blending mode to "screen" masking all but the whites of the eyes and reducing the opacity to about 20%. Then I would sharpen the eyes using the sharpen brush. Now I use Luminar. |

A different portrait. I agree when others have said it is all about the eyes. Her pose is good in that she is not looking directly at the camera. However, for me, the image is spoilt by the lack of sharpness in her eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes and her complexion is unfortunate particularly below her left eye (on the right looking at her). I agree with Kevin that darkening her forehead would improve the image. |

This picture, for me, is about two things, firstly the people and secondly the lines. The lines on the ceiling and the line of windows are leading us to the centre and in the centre is the only person looking towards the camera and what's more she has a beautiful smile. I like this picture very much.
I always try to make a comment on what I think would improve the image although, often, others don't agree so here goes. I would crop both sides to keep the girl in the centre then I would apply a grad filter to darken the top and bottom because I find the hand and hat distracting. Finally I would lighten the girls face and add a little clarity to it. |

When I fist looked at the image the first thing that drew my attention was the light area at the top right and the light areas to the left of the stalk of the bud. Until I read Barbara's comment I didn't see that the bud overpowered the flower but I do agree with that comment. I cannot help myself playing with images whether mine or others and so I selected the flower and stem then blurred everything else. I then got rid of the light areas and finally I used content aware crop to put the flower higher up the frame. I was to lazy to recreate the border. |

You have caught the bee in a good position on the flower and have cropped it perfectly so it is on the thirds. For my taste I would prefer a little more texture in the flower |

I agree with Barbara and the picture for me is the zebra and the floor. However I should comment about the picture you have submitted. I again agree with her that the skunk doesn't stand out against the zebra. I took the image into Luminar AI (they are not paying me a commission) chose one template and moved two sliders and got the result below. |
