50 Dec 20 Comment I think Jeffrey's flip is interesting. We see the river at the bottom left moving up through the picture which to me is an improvement on the original. However, I don't like what the flip does to the sky so on balance I wouldn't flip it. For me the sky makes the picture. I agree with darkening the island. Dec 12th
50 Dec 20 Comment I like this image. I think you have a good balance between the sea the land and the sky. Starting with the sea the white leading from the left adds interest as do the "waves" leading round the rocks and out to the right. The rocks lighthouse and buildings are perfect. You stood in an ideal position as the far lighthouse although small also adds interest. The picture is completed with the beautiful sky. My only suggestion for improvement is I think you may have a halo around the rocks and the building. It is not very noticeable at 1024 by 768 but if it is there then it may show up on larger images.
