Thanks for the work Jeffrey. After Cindy's comments I asked a group of friends at our monthly critique meeting what they thought and they all echoed Cindy's view. I therefore copied the ladies mouth from a picture I had taken a few minutes later. I then copied her eye from the right flipped it and used it to replace the left eye. The attached is the result. |

I agree with Cindy that both the mono and colour work well. Unlike her I would not crop the tree at the left hand side as the base of the fallen tree is then too close to the edge. Your title is Tree Wrecked House and to me the house is too dark and my eye is dragged to the fallen tree. I would darken the tree and lighten the house. A good well-seen image. |

I find this image very a interesting and as you say the man makes the shot -not only him but his shadow, I think the image could do well in competitions. However my eye is drawn to the ceiling and the light. You could consider toning these down. |

I like rugby images and this is no exception. The expressions on the players faces make the picture. I agree with Cindy about cropping from the left hand side. I would also increase the contrast slightly. |

I like the image but prefer the colour version because of the limited colour range. I have tried to separate the car from the background in the mono but not to my satisfaction. I suspect we all have good images sitting on our hard drive but which have never been shown. |

I agree with Cindy's comments but I prefer the soft tones of the colour version to the mono. |

I would agree about the dead space. I have cut the middle out in photoshop and made the mountains slightly higher. |
