50 Jul 19 Comment Like Karl, the colour version doesn't appeal to me. I think that Jeffrey's version improves the image. My only suggestion to improve his version is to add a slight vignette Jul 30th
50 Jul 19 Reply Thanks for your comments. I don't think it is noise although I may be wrong. It was raining heavily and I think what we see is rain. I have tried reducing the noise but this has had no effect. Jul 8th

50 Jul 19 Comment This is an interesting image where you have caught the gulls at just the right time. The rope leading from the hydrant to the boat and the second rope leading from the boat out of the picture and their reflections add a lot to the image. I also like the textures in the hydrant. I think your processing is perfect. I wouldn't change anything. Jul 4th
50 Jul 19 Comment I think that both the colour and mono work well. I agree with Cindy about the bright diagonal line. In both the colour and mono I would put more space in front of the car. In the colour version I think the grass and the sign behind the car are over saturated and I would take these down. I would be interested in your camera setting as you have caught the car perfectly and your panning is spot on. Jul 4th
50 Jul 19 Comment Your image has great impact. I particularly like the river receding into the background. I agree with Cindy regarding the trees. I would also clone out the white patches in the clouds. To me they are too distracting. Jul 4th
50 Jul 19 Comment I like both the mono and the colour. As Jeffrey says the mono makes you look at the lighthouse but I do like the colours in the stone. For competition entries I would try both. I would add more contrast and crop a little from the bottom. I may also darken the sky. Jul 4th
