I also think that the girl should be the sharpest part of the image. Other than that I wouldn't change anything. |

I would agree with the others that this is a great image. You may consider lightening his face an darkening the net slightly. |

I prefer the colour version and would agree that Jeffrey's version is better. |

I like both the mono and colour versions. Did you take two pictures or have you cloned out the mat in the colour version? In either case I think the mat suits the colour but not the mono version. Well seen. |

Thanks for the comments Cindy. When you flip anything with writing or numbers you have to flip the writing or numbers back. It was only after looking at the image above did I realise I haven't reflipped the number of the rider in the background. When you notice the number it becomes quite annoying. |

It will be interesting to read what the others think. |

I like the textures in the image and I think it makes a good mono subject. You have caught the horse with its head turned to the perfect position. Have you deliberately kept the top of the "window" off the horizontal? |

I like your idea here but I think there is too much out of focus on the right hand side. If it were mine I would redo it with a smaller aperture to get a greater depth of field. I think it is a good subject for mono. |
