I prefer the colour version and whilst I would crop I would leave more on the left. I particularly enjoy the orange and yellows in this version. I have cropped and applied a vignette. |

I think that Chuck's enhancements have made a good picture into an outstanding image. He has also lightened parts of the rocks as well as darkening the sky. I could not improve on his version. |

I prefer the mono and think your panning is excellent. I love the clarity in the car but you have retained the motion in the wheels. You will have to come to England to give me lessons. |

I would agree with the others regarding the flame in the colour version. I would also agree with Karl regarding panning or trying to get some wheel spin. For me the image is too static and would be better if there was some sign of movement. I do like the contrast in the truck and the detail on the underside. I wouldn't crop the RHS but would use content aware fill in Photoshop to get rid of the sky. |

I would agree entirely with Cindy's comments. I think the original is far better. |

Thanks for the comment about the space on the right. I saw this style in a recent exhibition and thought I would try it and see what response I got. |

She is looking at her friend. It was not posed. I want the viewer to look at the space between her eyebrows and her lower lip and I think the colour version detracts from this. I agree about increasing the darkness on the RHS. |

I would agree with Gordon about adding more tone to the mono version. I also like the colour version. I can't decide which I prefer. |
