50 Jul 18 Reply I think your crop does improve the image although I have gone back to the original to reduce the clarity and contrast in the face.

50 Jul 18 Comment I like pictures like this with the curves and lines and I think you have done a great job in processing both the mono and colour versions. I wouldn't change anything in either version. My preference is for the colour version as you have only the two colours, brown and blue. If there had been more colours I might have preferred the mono. 50 Jul 18 Comment As you say the picture is about lines and reflections. My eye tends to look at the first boat with its wonderful reflection. You might consider cropping out the 3rd boat, although this is a matter of taste. I have also cloned out the small white cloud and the sky on the upper left although again these are a matter of taste Jul 12th
