I agree. That is exactly what I did. |

Thanks for your suggestion. I do have a tendency to make my images too gritty. I have changed it as suggested. |

The first thing that struck me when I saw this was the interesting sky which the eye follows from the top of the image to the horizon. You photograph many excellent dynamic skies. In this instance though I feel that the "blue" sky is too dark as the bird does not stand out from it enough. I would also consider making the shelter on the left vertical. |

Your image makes me think of a war zone. Well spotted. The only thing I would suggest is to add a gradient filter to darken the sky. How did it do in GASO? |

An interesting image. I prefer your crop and disagree with Stephen about the side window. My only suggestion for improvement is to remove the white line on the left hand side. I am not sure what it is but it does distract. |

Another Cindy special. What a splendid image. The tones are excellent and the placement of the parts are perfect. The black felt finishes the image off. I do not think you could improve this image. |

I think this is a very good picture. Initially when I looked at the two images I preferred the colour version but after looking at them a few times I now favour the mono. The path leading through the swamp is in the perfect place providing a leading edge from the left. The Glowing Foliage is not to my taste in both the mono and colour and I find it distracts from the path which takes us through the picture to the trees. You could consider cropping the top slightly. |
