I would agree with Cindy's comments (See attached.) and Kathy's comments about the subject and texture. I do like the dramatic sky both in the mono and colour versions However I prefer the colour version. |

An interesting still life. The textures and tones are excellent. I have no suggestions on how to improve the image. I would love to see the original "as shot" image.
I had not heard of Smart Photo Editor. I will take a look at it. |

I think you have chosen an interesting subject and although we do not have the colour version to compare I think that mono is probably the better choice. What is the very dark area on the barn just below the tree on the right?
To improve the image you could consider lightening the front of the barn. I would also clone out the white trails in the sky. You might consider cropping the grass at the bottom of the image but if you do then only by a small amount. |

An interesting image. I like her face particularly her expression. She seems to be lifting her head backwards which appears to move her ears down her head and lengthen her neck. I think this is a good image for mono conversion.
To improve the image I would lighten her eyes and add more contrast to her face. I would also take out the highlights in the background and possibly darken it. I cannot decide whether I would crop the image closer to her face. See attached |

I can see why the colour is a favourite of yours. The colours and textures are beautiful. I am sorry, but in my opinion, I do not think it works as a mono. |
