I have suspected some bias from judges outside the US regarding my images particularly taken at Arlington. When I have entered the same images in US exhibitions in the South or in the Southwest, they have done well. |

Ed, I like your version. The snow laden tree is in the right
third. The mountain slop provides a nice diagonal. |

I took you original and entered crop mode(PS) turning it clockwise to get rid of the branch in the upper right. In PS I then used the hue/saturation adjustment eyedropper on those greenish foreground areas and by reducing the yellow the spots disappeared as did the greenbackground. So I then used the eraser tool on the green background and restored it somewhat,
I merged that layer down and then applied NIK detail extractor and NIK brilliance/warmth tools. |

Scabbard would hold the bayonet when it is not on the rifle.
