You are not the only one Nancie, it definitely looks dimensional and fluffy, not flat and reflective. |

Thanks Marla, hard to get the sun NOT to be blown out of course. Your suggestion interests me.
I may play with it but right now dealing with a new computer that will not talk to my external hard drive and spending hours and hours and days talking with Apple techs trying to get everything working, and spending big bucks as it turns out. |

thanks Gordon. I was stooping down to get this image so no two are identical due to wobbly shots. The cloud is confusing, I may play with it but right now dealing with a new computer that will not talk to my external hard drive and spending hours and hours and days talking with Apple techs trying to get everything working, and spending big bucks as it turns out. |

Tough call, John. It's hard to see in this format. Your textures are wonderful. I do like what Marla did, as I think the contrast was needed. And its so wonderful to have captured the pink colors that to use them is a great idea.
I also like the right half of the image with the mountains and then the hills in textury detail.
But wait, i love my 28-300 lens and I agree its too much work to change my Z-7 back and forth. So if I'm shooting with the Z I usually am using this lens too. And really, look at all your incredible detail it captured!!! |

Love this shot and it made me laugh out loud. So much fun and as perfectly balanced as if you posed everyone!!!
I agree with others, I'd like to see the tops of the heads
OR
crop down into the photo so you don't have random heads chopped off. Actually, if you cropped down a bit the sheep would look like they go on FOREVER with this one dog vigilant. |

I can almost smell this daffodil. I haven't gone out much, just one day I had to go to Seattle for a Chiropracter appointment. It was a gorgeous day. And, oh yeah, outside my house twice to capture some tulips and some textures that I will try to do something with. This is a happy photo. Your lens captured great details in the flower and lovely bokeh in the background. Lovely, and I agree that maybe some frontal blur would work too. |

I bought some tubes on sale in Banff because the store was going out of business there. Now, i don't even know if they fit my camera lens as I can't figure them out :-) |

My camera great for focus stacking, built in, but I haven't tried it yet myself. |

I didn't even notice the noise but this topazed version looks great. Its a great program to have especially shooting under difficult lighting, which this wasn't. |

Gordon, this is very lovely and very interesting.
Especially the part where this is several different photos melded together. Hummm.
I love the cliff details and lighting. It was confusing with such a bright light on the snow and black trees, I thought you added dark rather instead of adding light to the scene.
I wanted the big dark tree to have some more definition, more light, just even a little would feel more balanced to me. And connect the light on the focal point below upwards to the sky and white cloud. Love your concept and so much great stuff going on in you photo. Wow |

Theresa, I'm jealous! When I was in Ilwaco in Feb and March the only red sky there was over the harbor was the ONE morning I was too tired to set my alarm!
this is beautiful! I think the comments about lightening the darks a bit are probably good but you sure don't want to dilute your colors. Some day we need to meet and go shooting together. Maybe a year and a half?? |

Yeah, you could loose the top cloud. It's lovely but not your farm life focus. |

I see that the broken gate is interesting but its very bright and at the edge of the photo, drawing my eye. You could darken it a bit, but then it becomes invisible. But, what is your focal point here? the fence, the mountains, the windmill or the broken gate? Too much interesting stuff perhaps.
I might crop the gate and a bit more off the left and just a bit off the right side, placing the windmill in the sweet rule of thirds spot. |
