You were there in that grandeur, I was not. And not likely to be either. What a grand adventure. Did you climb all the way to the 1700 foot peak? |

Thanks Theresa!! I'll have to look for a clear day, quite stormy today, stay safe up there.
I appreciate your directions |

I just said "Wow!" when I saw this. Gorgeous colors and beautiful water too. I agree with getting some more details on the cliffs. I like your crop as it gives a nice triangular leading line into the picture, from the right side to the left side. Love it, great job coming back again and again to find the perfect tide and light |

I love horses and am always looking to get shots for my son-in-law for cards to send him. You did an amazing job getting them so sharp while moving and so far away. I love the rocks behind them and would have loved seeing the horses against that rock backdrop. At that distance probably not possible to get low to capture that as background.
I'm not sure how I would crop this as horizon right in the center of the shot. possible some off the bottom and darken background. But, you be the artist on this one, Mike. |

Beautiful image, Gordon. It is titled "clouds" but for me its the mountains that are the stars here. I love the sharp mountains leading in to Mt Everest. I think the soft moving clouds draw my attention away from the fact that, My God!!!, you are standing at 17,000 feet looking at Mt Everest!!!
I would love o see a crop down closer to the mountain and probably cut some off the right side also.
Stunning shot. How did you breathe?? |

Beautiful spot to shoot from, and lovely light on the Olympics.I understand the three trees you have here and the beautiful mountain on the left side. I see why you would include them all. I would add a neutral density filter also to bring out the details on the clouds and mountains.
I am trying to imagine the suggested crops but really love this scene also as is. I'd love to know your location as I live here too!! Perhaps a very very subtle vignetting. |

A different subject for you, Nancie, very minimalist.
I see the horizon problem too. but didn't notice it until reading. The people sure are tiny in scale. All the leading lines bring my eye to the walking figure (s). I might clone that couple together out to lighten their visual weight.
Very serene and peaceful. |
