71 Nov 19 Comment Your daughter did a beautiful job.
I really like Marla's crops too. I love that tiny little boat that is alone out on the giant ocean under those rays of light. Often a neutral density filter will help with the bright light when adjusting the highlights isn't enough.
you brought a lot of new viewers to our site with this image!
Nice work.

71 Nov 19 Comment How wonderful to get to see this in person! Cool. I too love back lighting and dust. I would like to see the lower right corner darkened down as it is very lovely but not the story of herding the sheep in late afternoon. Gordon said darken the top left, and you could do that also a bit though I like it fine myself. I thought you could crop just a smidge off the right and a small bit off the left side to really capture the animals and the men working the scene.
It might be nice to add some contrast or sharpening to the men, dogs and horses. This is a fabulous capture, Mike!!

71 Nov 19 Comment I was thinking the same thing, crop some of the bottom and some on the left also, maybe.
John's crop focuses my eyes on the river and the interesting and flooded trees in it. Nice job, Beautiful

71 Nov 19 Comment Stunning image and one you could sell for sure!! I love the mystery of it. It looks good cropping some of the sky, but I like your crop here. Seeing the upper clouds helps me understand what is happening overall.
I wouldn't mind opening up the shadows on the rocks a bit.
Amazing place and well shot!! Gorgeous.

71 Nov 19 Comment I am astounded that you could get this shot with those buildings in front of you!
I love shooting the Milky Way, but didn't do any this summer.
Maybe if you went into photoshop--Filters_camera Raw filter
you could try going up to the color panel and move the blue slider to the left to reduce the blue. It would be better to do it only on the selected driftwood so you don't change the sky colors. I'm not quite sure how to do that part of it.
Lovely photo, even with the blue and good job lining the Milky was up with the center.
