Lovely scene. The sky is lovely and the corral is a point of interest for me. You captured beautiful colors in the grass and wildflowers, especially those yellow flowers.
I like the idea of a crop and a bit of vignette, like Marla suggested, but I probably would have included some dark blue sky at the top of the crop, not white clouds which draw my eyes upward. The blue echoes the mountain below it.
I think a photo that is half sky and half land is too static.
and that one or the other needs to dominate. overall, a lovely photo. |

The only negative that I felt was that you can't tell us how this happened!!I have never had this lucky accident, but now I will be hoping for it myself. This is such a striking image, with a bit of magic in that rainbow centered. Lovely, and fortunate you. I guess magic is what happens when we work at this picture taking, good things come to us. |

Lovely location, lovely framing. I agree with taking out the brown spot on left. I wanted to see MORE of the foreground, waterlilies and weeds. Did you capture an image with those in it? I think it would balance the framing at the top to have the bottom framed also. If not, vignetting is another option.
I too was busy with art show, at our state fair for the last month. Whew, glad its over so I can get back to real life. |

Gorgeous shot, I love the layers and layers of interest and the mists. This looks like a magical place.
I thought cropping a bit of the sky might be good also, not all of it, just some of it. Your steep climb certainly paid off. |
