Both you and Albert saw the same problem. I agree with you. Guess I have some work to be done on the image. Thanks for your input. |

I can see why it's one of your favorites. It would be a great reminder of your trip. The people may fight a lot but these two seem happy.
Your image is well done. I really like the tone you added, it fits and give the image a look of a different period.
Well done. |

Thanks Albert, good comment. I darkened the water on the left side. Maybe I need to revisit it. |

At a workshop we were once told that no part of your image should not add to the overall image. You have accomplished this. Your image is well framed, sharp, well processed. I find myself looking about the image for another interesting thing. It holds my attention.
Nice shot! |

I like the b&w version much more than the color. To me the color distracts. Even with it being backlit you still managed to maintain very good detail in the shadows. His pose is great. I see nothing I would change.
Very well done. |

Wow Ed! Talk about repetitive patterns. Very nice sharp well composed image. You captured every tone from black to white where I assume not to be well lit.
I like it and would not change a thing.
Well done. |

One of my favorite subjects. They do become somewhat tolerant of people in some locations. To me your image is sharp and a very good pose for a heron portrait. For me it could stand a little more contrast. I took the liberty of increasing contrast and I feel it made a better image. |

Very nice image Jack. The zig-zag diagonals create a leading line to take your eye through the image. I agree, the simplicity of the image is it's strongest point for me.
Well done. |
