I probably put the mountains in the upper third and used a wide angle. |

Thanks for your input. We had a great time and got a lot of shots. I tried to get ripples in the sand as you do so well. Not sure how they will turn out. |

I agree with Ed. I find the horses in the background a bit distracting. You captured a very somber moment. Well done. |

In some ways I agree with Jack. The old man is much more interesting than the woman. On the other hand their eyes and his hand creates a very powerful triangle which keeps you eye within the image.
Nice shot. |

Great shot Adrian. Super sharp and detailed. It's as if you were invited to walk through the arches. You captured all the detail in both the white and black which can be difficult in a scene like this.
I don't think I would change anything. |

I too like the b&w over the color version. It has a quality that matches the age of the scene. I agree with the others in that the dark spot is distracting. It wants you to wonder what is up the stairs.

This is a great catch John. It's very sharp and great tonal values. As for the blurred limbs, I would like to see either no blur or a bit more to show motion. Not an easy shot to get. |

Nice shot Jack. I too have been there many times but never with snow. I always try to get my shot without the bushes along the lower right, I think they distract from a fantastic scene. You did a great job capturing the tonal range.
I did a little cropping and content aware fill. Maybe it improves the shot.
Regardless, its a nice shot. |
