Excellent exposure and processing Jen: You have created an image with great depth and detail. I cannot suggest much to improve it... get rid of the bird.
Well done. |

Look like something from one of the old masters. I like it much more in b&w than color. It simplifies the scene. I would be tempted to clone out the satellite dishes :-) Your choice of toning adds to the implied age of the shot.
Very nice image, well done. |

Beautiful image Adrian. Lightening the stream improves it a a leading line.
I saw a presentation by Marc Adamus last week and he likes to make the scene progressively lighter as you move back from the camera to give the image more depth. You can look him up on the web. He's a fantastic photographer. Don't misunderstand, your image is great.
Very well done |

This is the "Time" in which we live! Great shot Ed. I like the vignette but then I'm not into PJ. My only thought is the woman in the background is a little distracting. It is a very nice image.
Well done. |

John you certainly captured a slice of time. As Jen put it a decisive moment and I agree. All the elements of a complex scene work together to create a nice image. The pier and fishing poles give a sense of depth.

Nice image Jack. The lines in the sand give it a 3d effect which is very nice. I do kind of like the crop suggested before. It provides interest through the image.
Well Done |
