I like your shot Jen. At first it appeared random and confusing to me but as I studied it a since of order came from it. I like the stark contrast of the dark structure against a white sky which makes it almost abstract.
Great shot |

I like this Albert, I guess I'm a little jealous! I would love to go there. Our oldest son teaches at Monash University in Melbourne so maybe some day. I agree withe Jen, It is very Ansel Adams like.

If you're new to b&w you are doing a great job. I really like your shot. It tells a great story and is very well developed. I also like the cropped version but it removes her from her background completely. I find the background in the upper half of the image to be a little distracting. Perhaps it could be darkened down a little.
Great shot! |

This is an interesting image Ed. If it were mine I would have probably tried to make the sky go completely black. This would have seemed to increased the contrast overall. It would be a very difficult shot to get.
Nice image.

I like your image a lot. It's a very strong monochrome with excellent tonal range and contrast. I also think the fact that the repeating pattern is not perfect. I would not crop or flip.
Great image

I like the repeating patterns in the image. Flipping it as suggested would probably be an improvement but I think Albert's idea of cropping to below the courtyard would much better. The quality of the image is quite good. |
