Nice picture with v close up cropping which is possible if the photo is sharp, as in this case. The only thing i might comment on is that the orange appear to be oversaturated or perhaps it is the harsh sun. |

I love the Tamron 28-75 which i use with my Sony! And yes, the cropped suggestion by Stuart is brilliant. Eyes are drawn immediately to the pretty Common Tiger (butterfly) and then to the flower. Agree with Lynne to tone down the orange flower at the bottom as it does distract somewhat. |

It certainly provides a nostalgic feel of the old. Think it looks better in B&W as suggested and i believe you gave it that painterly look? " ) |

Very nice composition and i would not crop the petals away. They're not taking away the attention from your intended focus, and it provides the full picture. Without the petals, i may not know that this is. Perhaps you could use Viveza (Nik Collection) and use structure which may help with some sharpening? |

Love the colors of the sky and the clouds add drama. Like the texture and pattern in the sand too and may work if you cropped abit of it. I didn't immediately register the water as initially, i thought it was more sand. Perhaps the water esp on the right could be darkened, and see how that might work. |

Thank you for your comments all of which are noted respectfully. Whole idea is the story of courtship between the birds. If either one is cropped, then there's no story, ie, If i crop out the dancing male, it will just be a boring picture of a bird sitting on the branch. I'm trying to figure out tho how i might crop this without losing the story 😀 perhaps someone can have a go at it, i dont mind. |
