Good idea, Howard. I hadn't thought of that. |

Unsuccessful search. I need more than their first initials. |

Can I assume a gallery had this pleasing arrangement, that you didn't rearrange them? I have just researched the pottery (beautiful, skillful, and valuable) and the Lady of Guadalupe (usually depicted in different colors than this.) I like that you have included the border on the left, avoided capturing yourself in the reflections and capitalized on the natural light to emphasize the shapes. Your vertical format interests me. Assuming it relates to their contemplative photography techniques, I'll next research A Karr and M Wood. |

Love the sunset, the pinks, blues, greens and golds. Tho it is a bit too DNRed for my taste, that gives it a picture-postcard look, calling me back to Chicago. The bridge looks massive and powerful; the skyscrapers, delicate by comparison. |

I like the bright, clear colors, the clouds, and the slightly distorted, ribbony appearance of the mirrored image. The sharp pier, almost centered, creates two windows with two, quite different scenes, but the diagonal line leading behind the pier unites them. Well seen. |

If this is how it looks on a sunny day, Peter, its appearance could be enough to scare a man into reforming. All lines lead to the light at the end of the tunnel, freedom; so the fact that the upper portion is burned out doesn't bother me. Tho on reconsideration, I think it would also work with cropping at the top of either of the grey horseshoe shapes. Wonderfully dreary texture. |

A very serene image, Subhash. I like the silhouetted rowers against warm-hued water and the soft, receding hills. Initially I thought the other object (perhaps a reflected flag and buoy?) distracting, but I've decided they provide a third , triangulating element, both between the boat and the beginning of its wake and between the boat and the predominant hill. Well seen. Well captured. |

Amazing capture of such a fast bird in such a narrow depth of field! Good detail on the face where you want it. Fierce-looking eyes. I'd like him flying over my haunted house. |

Here is the Original, which, for some unknown reason, Howard was unable to attach |

Ever since my B&W darkroom days, Lance, I've gravitated toward light & shadow. Just looked back at my previous work and will continue it that vein.
Read your Bulletin Board post and would like you to present a Zoom lesson for my Contra Costa Camera Club. If interested, please contact me through its website. |

WoW! Thank you, Lance. Will look back thru my past work to see what you are seeing. Will also peruse yours. I submitted the Original to my club last week. The excellent judge, one of my faves, thought the white table was a distraction from the patterns and shadows of the rest of the piece. It's all so subjective. |

Wonderful contrast between the fine architectural detail of the bridge and the rough vegetation coated pilings. The object in the lower left anchors and makes the image for me, its roughly coated arched shape echoing the smooth arches of the bridge. |

I love the way the mound from the center front wraps around the one to the left. The shape on the right reminds me of a sphinx overlooking the scene. I like the sky as is and agree with a bit of darkening.

My husband, a photographer and railroad fan, recognized Big Boy immediately and liked your image. The high contrast and diagonal positioning add to the sense of the engine's mass and power. |

The bird is well-positioned in the frame with his wings beautifully spread. Fine lighting on him and the water droplets. Good depth of field. Even if a pontoon boat is relatively stable, hand held is very impressive. Monochrome was a good choice. |
