Wonderful concept, turning a photo into a sketch, which I've never tried. You've inspired me to do so. Tho it doesn't look entirely like a sketch, I do like it. Amazing what content aware fill did with his glasses. I suspect you needed to add some detail of what would have been behind the frames. The problem on the left is his sweater which could be better differentiated from the background and his shirt or match the latter. So many steps. I, too, admire your perseverance and determination to experiment. |

This amuses me. I love that she has superpowers over the osprey which seems stunned by her ray. Thank you for your resource. The replaced head was well composited, and I agree that the red dress would have dominated, taking the eye away from the focal point: her strong, outstretched arm and the leading line to her victim. The amphitheater would have been nice, but the diamond shaped tiles are also classic. |

Yes, Candy, this is very soft and gentle. You achieved what you wanted in this stressful time. |

First to look up LARP. Guess I've been under a rock since the late '70s. Skillful compositing. I agree with the comments above about making the dragon a greater focal point. Certainly admire your skill at painting in the smoke and steam. Oh to travel again. |

I love the foreboding sky, the lighting, and the tonality of this, Steve. Thank you for introducing me to color balance and the subtle use of silver efex. I agree about the boat. Maybe a bit of grunge. She might have taken that weapon, a blunderbuss?, into the Michigan Capitol to protest, but I doubt she would have worn her mask. |

I too thought of Christina's World. Especially knowing of her disability makes the sweet charm of this carefree child enjoying the summer grass on his bare feet all the better. Just the break we need during these days of lock down. Choosing a sky with leading lines, the skillful addition of the boy, the subtlety of the shadow, and the bird which I didn't see until Steve's comment, all masterful. |

Thank you, Steve. I appreciate your continued support. Your "Turner" is lovely. I remember it from one of your tutorials in the PSA magazine. |

Alan, I understand what you are saying; but, my imagination not being as fertile as yours, I will take inspiration wherever I can get it. This was a far cry from photographing Hakusai's woodcut. Our judges didn't object. |

Well seen, Gunter. How often do we stop and really look? Nice texture, lovely, warm color. Glad that you desaturated the others. |

Interesting shapes and viewpoint. I agree with Gunter that the artifacts add interest, looking almost like the result of an oil paint filter. The silhouettes against a grey sky capture the initial mood of shelter in place tho many of us have found positive aspects and pleasure in its quiet solitude. |

The whole scene you are documenting in B&W looks cold and desolate. Along with Grace I'd also like to see a portrait of the woman, especially in color, because, in contrast, she looks pleasant: warm and inviting. |

This is beautiful, Peter! You have really captured the power of the falls enhanced by the presence of the single, small individual. I've been there and got nothing close to this. I agree with all that's been said about the blue color, and the silkiness achieved by your perfects shutter speed. |

Just the bottom. Or would any darkening overpower the landscape?
