34 Feb 20 Reply Thanks, Candy. I diminished all the images behind the haze of cloud knowing they would be more visible on the club's large screen than our computer screens. Success in the Master's category. (We are no where near as advanced as this group.) Feb 25th
34 Feb 20 Reply Thanks, Jan. As you suggested, I reworked it adding more, larger pix. Won a first at our club. Feb 25th
34 Feb 20 Reply I wish I could find your lost images in the cloud after all you've done for me. Denise's, too. Will keep looking.

34 Feb 20 Comment A terrific idea, to celebrate the life of the discarded engine. I like Jan's muting of the saturated, shadowless flowers, which emphasizes the engine. Feb 24th
34 Feb 20 Comment Well done, Candy. Terrific details on the originals. Good processing on the background. Skillful editing and compositing of the frog. A very successful composite. Feb 24th
34 Feb 20 Comment Brilliant! At first glance I thought it was actually a flower. Love the way your fertile imagination and your willingness to explore various plug ins allow you to do something totally different each month. You inspired me to use the flame on my next image; but while it showed in my PS >filter>render, I couldn't use it. Along with 3 of the other 8 options, it showed in grey rather than black, so I couldn't open it. Feb 24th
34 Feb 20 Comment Again, Alan, a very skillfully conceived and executed concept; and along with its title, the moodiness of this one has a lot of emotional appeal to me. I ditto all the above comments on your compositing and especially like the way you were able to alter the tones on the man. Feb 18th
34 Feb 20 Comment First Denise, congratulations on your lovely, graceful showcase image.
Your monochrome is delightful. I imagine Amelia is too, very spirited with lots of personality. Wonderful captures of her and skillfully composited into the schoolhouse. Congratulations on your successes with the image.

34 Feb 20 Comment Another creative idea beautifully executed, Steve. Again, a lot of work with a very pleasing result. I bought a sphere several months ago but too small a one so haven't done anything with it. Love what you do. I'm so sorry about the loss of your files and am pleased that you were able to recover what you did. Feb 18th
34 Feb 20 Reply I'm sorry you don't get it, Barbara. The New Yorker cartoon spoke to me, and I suspect people who have had computer problems will understand my image.

37 Feb 20 Reply Thank you, Peter. It's probably time that I start using my Snapseed.
Will investigate Rad Drew, too.

37 Feb 20 Reply Thanks, Howard, it's not even a recent model! Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Reply Thanks, Subhash Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Reply , , , and mine is an iPhone 7, not comparable with the current models which have two cameras and depth of field capability! Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Reply Thank you, Grace Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Reply Thank you, Peter! Would you please share with me the major topics taught in your iPhoneography classes? If there's too much to list here, please go to the "general Information" tab at the top of our home page. Thanks again! Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Comment I agree with the above that it's different and good to see the context of the Sydney Opera House. Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Comment Good use the black light to get the subtle color of this interesting subject. Sharp throughout. Well done. Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Comment This is beautiful, Gunter! Sharp image and lovely translucency of the light through the petals and the striations of the leaves. I might have omitted the top left one. Someone in our club does these multiple lightbox shots of florals and paints each blossom back in, so I know how time consuming and exacting the process is. (See LucyBeckPhotography.com) Feb 25th
37 Feb 20 Comment A lovely flower, Peter. I stands out from its black background. It's difficult to get a flower with a stigma as long as this one has completely in focus. Feb 24th
37 Feb 20 Comment I really like the sunset color and the silhouetted hills. You caught the pelicans in an interesting pose and placed well in the composition. I like them in silhouette with their sunlit wing edges. Good, clean, graphic image, or is there a bit of aberration in the lower right of the sky? Feb 24th
