34 Oct 19 Comment Nice job, Candy. Our club never has assignments, and I like the idea of exploring/creating within the challenge. You have done well exploring the possibilities of your light box, acrylic base, and flashlight. I especially like the potato masher and whisk. The intersecting lines of the latter are lyrical. Warmed up a tad, I would hang it on my kitchen wall. Oct 29th
34 Oct 19 Comment As always, Jan, your imagination and skill amaze me. Love dogs anyway, so any would be a winner, but what you've done to your granddog is charming. To me the creation of their clothing and just enough oil painting are the highlights, and I like Georgianne's treatment of Dudette's jacket. (In the past, I enjoyed using poster edges, but it has disappeared from my PS. Will try to find out how to reinstall it.) Oct 29th
34 Oct 19 Comment The beautiful stairway does point to someone/something just there. Importing this man from France was a good choice. He seems to be standing under the light for a reason, to read his paper. (Hopefully he's not about to walk down the stairs with the paper obscuring his vision.) So I would brighten it some, but keep its tone darker than the man. I'd also anchor him with a shadow under his foot. Muting the colors results in a very appealing image. Oct 29th
34 Oct 19 Comment A successful composition, Steve. Dark, sinister and goulish, just as you intended.

34 Oct 19 Reply This is wonderful, Georgianne! Thank you for your research, which yielded much better results than mine. Oct 11th
34 Oct 19 Reply Thank you for your encouragement, Alan. I was hoping you would suggest something surrealistic to float above the scene. I tried the pumpkin from my Magritte image a few month ago but didn't know how to make the reflection b/c I think I would need to show the bottom and don't know what that looks like, but could probably imagine it. 34 Oct 19 Comment Georgianne, I very much like the outline effect, the saturated image, and the way you were able to extract the square object , extend and reshape it. A very pleasing graphic reult. Oct 8th
