Very creative use of an ordinary object. I like the clean, graphic image you've created. Having used neither the gradient tool nor either yours or Steve's system of drawing a straight line, I'm impressed with your success and inspired to explore. |

All three of these, the seashore and the landscape, are beautiful, Steve. You've selected, composed, and composited well. You've inspired me, too, but I mistakenly ordered rather a small sphere. Will see what I can do. (Never heard of groynes before so researched and learned . Thank you.) |

An excellent adaptation of a good image. I especially like the toning and the softening of the background. |

Jan, I love this! This month you are certainly the most imaginative and creative among us. The original concept and the execution with all the found bits and pieces: charming and whimsical. Then the filters to tie it all together. And each month you challenge yourself with something entirely different. Wonderful!

What a sweet, inquisitive little face. Love the speckles of his feathers and their texture as compared with the branch. Again, you've nailed the focus from the catchlight in his eyes to the soft background. Possibly crop a bit from the top. |
