I really like the serenity of this scene, Georgianne. If you want the woman as the primary focal point, I agree with Jan that she should have a more substantial (read Adirondack) chair. and not fade out into the white vignette. |

Interesting, surreal composite, Alan. I have nothing to add to the above comments. |

I. too, like the added smoke and engineer. My husband, also a train buff, suggests adding gravel. I like Jan's straightening and crop. |

Thank you for your introduction to lens spheres. Tho I don't understand what you are showing in Original 1. I love what you've done with the spheres. (Will try it myself, but don't have all your plug-ins.) I would prefer the prisms and figures beneath to be on a less busy surface, maybe grass. |

Denise, I empathize on your computer problems. You have made an interesting image in a short time. The top and foreground look somewhat like stained glass, tho the reflection doesn't. Looking forward to another of your brilliant, time consuming creations next month. |

Jan, the concept is brilliant. Who else would have thought of using an old phone cord as pasta? At first I thought it was and couldn't understand the clip on the end. The composition, lighting, color overlay, and exposure are right on. Your creation of steam is clever and successful. Love it! |

This is a single image, not a composite. By "perspective," are you referring to the distortion of the lamp caused by my using "skew" to straighten the image? |

Good to capture the mosquito. I would have liked a wider depth of field. |

Don't understand whether this is a museum specimen or a live insect. In any case, I like your soft background. Are the wings less sharp than the body, or were they actually that soft looking? |

A very successful composition. I have trouble deciding which images will work well together. You've made a good selection and combined them well. |

Ditto what Gunter said. I would love to be hiking there. To see the profusion of wildflowers in CA this spring, see Michael Frye's blog. (I did't get there, either.) |

The reflection and the sunset on the splashing water drops are lovely. But I, too, am unable to distinguish which parts of the pelican I'm seeing. |

Thank you, Grace. I do like architecture and in fact went to Chicago last fall specifically for that. Your comment caused me to look back at previous images. I hadn't realized that I have posted architecture for the past 7 months. |
