Revisiting my image, I would crop off the top fourth to make it more relevant to the title. |

Great detail and soft background. From a a car window! Well done. Perhaps darken the lower stem. |

What an adventure! To capture this from a boat amazes me. Strange looking bird captured with good detail. His branch leads the eye in. . .or out. Darkening its base would help. You could soften the background with gaussian blur, but that's not kosher in a nature image. |

Well composed and captured. The mountainside, tracks, and even the tree's shadow lead me in with the tiny figures establishing scale and telling a story. A Lovely, very cold image. |

Since I don't shoot birds in flight, or much of anything that moves, i praise you for capturing this. Nice angle, well placed in the frame, and reasonable detail. I, too, would clone out the second bird, tho that isn't allowable for nature. |

I first saw the well-captured falls' silky look and the black river. One needs to take time and peruse before noticing the buildings. Can't decide whether the bit of white at the bottom stops the eye or draws it out of the image. As Gunter says, 'would be interesting to see other angles, closer crops. I'd like to be there. Miss the snow of my childhood. |

Gunter, your processing on this is beautiful. As are the lighting, flowers and containers. You've really achieved a delicate, old timey look. I would, however, prefer a pyramidical composition as in the traditional art. |
