Clever to use Andre's technique for a pumpkin (and get a turkey as a result.)
I think some of your rust images would work, too. Isn't it time for another trip to the auto salvage yard? |

Jan, I like that the person and boat are soft, indistinct in the fog, but they give me a place to focus so needn't be blurred. The bird in the foreground is fine, too. You drew in the fence? Impressive. The sun and dark steaks in the water add interest and drama to an image which wouldn't have appealed to me unless I'd been on that trip and wanted to retain the memory. Beautiful sunset. |

Brilliant! Both your set-up and the selection and manipulation of the images for your final, unique result. It's all been said above. |

First, Georgianne, congratulations on your showcase image. I like the path, fence and shadow all leading us into the scene.
Re this month's ghost, I agree with Jan that she should be a bit more prominent, but maybe not so much. I like the added texture of the framing trees but would prefer them less prominent: with lower contrast and a grey or brownish tone which harmonizes with the crypt.
Again, you folks are so imaginative to realize which unrelated images can work together to tell a story. |

Candy, this is charming. I like the blacksmith's kind expression as he looks at the curious child. I admire the creativity of you and the rest of the group in discovering images in your files which composite to make a story. Jan's rework of the blue shirt is good. And I agree with Phil on the stones at the edge. Nothing original to contribute. |

Steve, you have done wonderfully well at what you intended.
I like the smoothing or her skin, the plumping of her face, the changes to her hair and eye. I agree that the snakes should be more prominent, given your title. Admire your skill and your use of portrait pro and Topaz, neither of which I own. |

You've certainly changed the feeling of the image. An invitation for me to experiment further with it.
I'd like to see what you do with the app, too.

Interesting transformation, Candy. Now it looks like a water fountain or feathers.
Ah, yes, a feather headdress on a Las Vegas entertainer. |

Lucky you! With a regular tour or a specific photography leader? If so, who? |

How beautifully sharp and detailed. I wonder whether the yellow one has emerged from one of those chrysalises. Congratulations on the capture, Grace. |

I like what you've captured with your experiment-a scene in a hammock. |

I'm fine with the fact that your subject/center of interest is the entire sweep of gold. Is the white portion overexposure or snow? The curved lines of the ripples add interest. I like the sharpness, jewel-like colors and golden edges on the stones. |

How beautiful, Howard! It's all been said above- sharpness of feathers, catch light, perfect depth of field, and his amazing colors. Makes me want to go to Kenya, but I'd need a longer lens. When were you there? |

I like the detail in front and the sharpness of the rock as contrasted with the milkiness of the falls and softness in its surrounding vegetation. The slight offset of the front and back waters negates the necessity to "un-center" it in my opinion. A well-captured, image of one of the Columbia River's many beautiful falls in spring. Makes me want to be there. |

I like the girl's position in the frame and especially her gold jacket which blends well with her surroundings. When I've used a texture in the past, especially this one, it's been suggested I use it on only part to the image. It is effective, especially on what I assume were leaves on the ground, but I would omit it from her body. |
