Now that you point it out, Phil, I agree about her nose. Will work on that before gifting it. |

I enjoy covered bridges and like what you've done here, especially adding the bird, but moving it as suggested above. I don't understand the horizontal lines, tho. |

Love your original image, Christine. I, too, am glad Steve returned the eye.
Were your adjustments in PS? |

I like the subtlety you've achieved and the symmetry you've created, Phil.
I, too, would love to use it as a background and like Jan's example. From you and the rest of the group, I learn about so many PS adjustments I'd never noted before. Thank you. |

Amazing success in pulling Annie from her black background and accentuating her rather than her scarf. I recently have come to appreciate poodles, having recently cared for my sister-in-law's Henri: calm and sweet, not what I'd expected. |

Clever idea, Steve. My favorite of your recent Goth treatments. I like the composition and the color pallet. I understand "inverted the selection" but not "deleted the contents." Of members' adaptations to make the fiddler more apparent, I like Jan's best. |

Jan, this is charming and beautiful. I admire all the work and the final effect. Don't think the flower's reflection is necessary, but the way you've made it, it adds to the dreamy effect. I'd like a bit of detail in the birds instead of just flat cut-outs. An absolutely lovely image. |

Just learned that we can create the HDR effect with a single RAW image.
When open in the RAW Converter, move the light and black sliders to get more detail in their respective areas of your image. |

He is so intent; I love it. His angle makes him feel strong and dynamic. Good D of F and exposure to get the detail of his feathers, as opposed to the background. Would Nature competition allow for brightening his eye and enhancing the other two water droplets? |

A beautiful and serene scene. I agree on eliminating most of the contrasting sky. If you had just a bit of it behind the tree tops, we would notice and understand the pink cast to the fog. Very calming, I would like this on my wall. |

I like their placement in the sunlight, and their interaction. You've done well to get detail in both the dark and light areas (except her face, as you've said.) An Ideal situation for HDR, which, set in your camera, might be fast enough to capture them even as they walk. |

Altho I've used long exposures on water, I haven't yet on clouds. You've done it successfully here. On the other hand, I think that cropping off 20% of the sky would leave enough cloud to create a frame for the beautiful, moonlit mountain tops. |

A wonderful family portrait, well captured. I love their expressions: he's alert; she's bored. Excellent sharp detail on their fur. |
