Another excellent piece of art work Cindy. Your background has just enough color to establish a nice contrast with excellent vignette color to highlight the Egret. |

It has all been said and Cindy is right that the lack of stems creates an emptiness. I think I would add more than one stem to help establish all flowers to be grounded. The painting is just lovely though. Such a nice note and it will make Michelle's day. |

Pat, you really got us thinking on this. i personally like the shadows but Cindy is right, if you are trying to make the backgroup appear to be the sky, the shadows would not be apparent. However, they are in your original and I do not think I would change that as they add something unique about the image. Maybe just clean up the background of the stucco wall I have a very rough visual feedback here. |

Trey the less toned version with black backround does really add a nice contrast and I like your review of the skin. Nice critique from Cindy. I also enjoy the version 2 with its colorful impact but I think she will enjoy this one more for the close appearance to the original. |

Wonderful Critique Trey. Thank you. I am not sure I am ready to put all this in place as I have just learned a few marks but will copy this and work on implementing your suggestions. |

The saturation really grabs my attention with your contrasting brilliant colors. You may wish to crop out the right petals to keep one's eye in the image. I love the detail work too. Just a beautiful image. |
