56 Aug 22 Comment Yes, it was worth it. Just beautiful. I love the simple background and the tone of green you used. I would not have thought of this color but it sets the bird and flower off perfectly. I also enjoy the warmth you brought into the bird's chest to mirror the warm orange-yellow tones in the Protea.
Nice elimination of some of the leaves. Your choice of what to put in and take out enhances the image and sharpening up the right side leaves works.

56 Aug 22 Comment Such a lovely area to visit. I enjoy the greenery garden art effect you created and your insightful narrative. You may want to bring back some of the sharp detail of the boulders to provide more contrast between the greenery and granite displays. I guess I am in a cropping mood today but I did crop a bit from the left to create a bit of interest rather than having both of the granite pieces in the center. Aug 7th
56 Aug 22 Comment Hi Pat, Nice work with your compositing skills. Your cut-out lines are sharp and well-defined which makes this appear to be a real view. You made the aerial view of the stadium come alive. Love the bright tones of magenta, lime green,& bright blue as they really make this image pop. A modern artist's rendering of the stadium. Not sure I see the need for the arch or the concept you were aiming for, but it looks beautifully done and is a good way to practice composites. Aug 7th
56 Aug 22 Comment Wow, you always come up with the best artwork concepts. Love the warm tones and hues in this image and the unique brush strokes on the wagon wheel and rocks. The fur on the Meerkat is perfect and the eye is so sharp. Beautiful work. I would crop to take the meerkat out of the center. Aug 7th
