Hi Jaci, Welcome to the group. So excited for you on your new Painting direction and to read you are enjoying MP's "Elevate your Art". It does become "addictive" as Cindy says. This painting is just lovely and the brush strokes have a wonderful sense of movement. I know you are new to all this but wow, great work so far. Cindy has a couple of great points. I would just add a suggestion, too.
On the stem, there are two knobs. They are just part of the stem. You might want to paint those in as part of the stem. Currently, they look a bit too photographic.

Your Grandson is just precious. What a creative idea and wonderful composite. You handled the ballon lines just perfectly. The little globe fits with the theme and the birds were a nice touch. Your selection skills look fabulous, too. I noticed that you extended Edison's arm too and wow that takes skill and looks great. I am sure your family loves this as will Edison in a few years. Great artwork and so creative.

Wonderful job with compositing and your mixer brush skills are really getting good. What a lovely family image of these Cheetahs.
There is a slight blue and cyan cast to the image. You may want to put a Hue and Saturation adjustment layer on this and reduce the saturation of those two colors.
Excellent work. |

I really like the way your white vignette softened the foreground and sides to bring focus to center-stage. Also, you did a fabulous job with this image to keep the perspective of distance and yet the mountains are just beautifully painted. Great work. |

Trey, I love the unusual shape and light qualities you maintained in this art piece. The painting has just enough sharpness to convey a flower, but also has the softness of blended brush strokes with lovely bold strokes. Just lovely.
