Pat, I agree with Cindy it is probably the screen. Sorry I didnt see that right away. Since the screen is a texture it might be difficult to give more definition to the face especially the nose using another brush but you may want to try. I tried here in my visual feedback. Another suggestion is just to paint the foxes using the mixer brush. What a wonderful capture and experience. |

Cindy, what a lovely painting piece. Your choice of color and textures for the background really gives a nice contrast to the panda and sets him off. Nicely done. I like the pose, too and eating the grass gives you an appropirate animal gesture which is always nice.
The only area that is a concern to my eye, is what is in his mouth? if it was part of the leaves, would it be green? if you have other images see if you have any other mouth views to peruse. in my visual feedback, I removed the ? and tried to give him just an open mouth. Not sure this is an improvement but just a suggestion.
Congratulations on your excellent PSA journal article. Well done. |

What a lovely way to say "Spring is coming". i like your composition and the colors. I love the texture you maintained in the leaves along with giving them rich warm tones. With the snow so critical to the image story, the white is needed, but you may want to reduce its impact. I removed the top leaves (brown-orange dabs) which seemed to draw my eye to them and cropped from the top to remove some of the white. Just a suggestion. |

Hi Trey, what a creative idea to crop into the leaves. Your sample of the foliage still lets us know what it is and the painting gives the leaves motion and interest. I think Cindy's idea to crop out the top green portion is a good idea. |

Pat, I wonder if this image became pixelated by being too small. I am missing the detail in the foxes' faces and would like to see a bit more detail there.
Your choice to rotate the image was a good one and gives a better diagonal line from left to right (the way we read) and is more attractive to my eye. I especially enjoy the feathery art effect of brushes. Your crop also brings the subject into a better position and keeps my eye in the image. |

Not sure I like this Title but rather would use the given name of Anthurium. The Google search reveals other names are Tailflower, Flamingo flower, Lacelea And a slang name if you will ~ Naughty Boy!
This is a beautiful art piece and so, perfect for valentine's Day. Your composition is nicely done, and I like the tones you chose for the background. The art effect really fits with this and makes an ordinary image really pop with impact. |
