56 Aug 21 Comment Excellent Terry. The enhanced sky with its change of tones and lovely cloud really adds punch to this image. You handled the lighting of the sky nicely with the original image,too. Your technique has a lovely painted quality with a nice watercolor effect. Aug 25th

56 Aug 21 Comment Pat, your compositing is beautifully done and the elements you used created a warm country scene. I find the solar a bit of humor and I am surprised they would use such modern science.
The leading line of the fence is a nice composition piece and the horse just really fills in the empty space beautifully. Very clever. I enjoy heavy impasto at times but this scene seems to lead me to a more romantic feel with maybe softer paint strokes. However, it is still a lovely painting and your removing some of the heavy impasto for details was a good choice. I just did a crop suggestion.		 Aug 24th
56 Aug 21 Comment Cindy, just beautiful. I love the composition and giving the ballet shoes more space was a good idea. The background is just lovely and your decision to simplify the background enhanced the impact of the shoes. The extra veils add to the painting's impact. You have created such a romantic feel with these colors and with your brushwork. The ribbon work is beautiful. Another ballet shoe award image. Don't change anything. Aug 24th
