Cindy, well done. I actually like the shadow, but love the veil. Just enough to really set it off and add impact. I especially like the way you handled the wall and floor in your finished piece. Your shading on the instrument is well done, too. Nice work .
I am still on my egg and getting a bit behind, but I like the charcoal technique. I am finding one has to start all over if a redo is needed and erasing doesn't work. I want to get caught up by April so I can start the storytelling.

Your bridge and its reflection along with the gorgeous saturated colors give this image impact. I like the way you balanced the bright white building on the left of the bridge with the light colored trunk on the right of the bridge. The colors just say Autumn . I love what you can do with this creative program. I know it isn't easy as I tried a trial .Beautiful work |

The bird and Proteus are spectacular. I just bought two of these plants but don't think I will see this beautiful bird. The bird is perfect with the dramatic diagonal line of its tail and its head looking to the left to keep the viewer's eye in the image. Your composition is spot on to highlight the tail but there is now an open space in the upper left. This space is perfect for text for advertising or writing a lovely haiku poem . I can just see this as a greeting card. This is a new technique for you and your time was well spent. Just Lovely work. |

Trey, The composition of your image is very nice. I like the slight camera angle to show the center blossoms.
The painting of the background and increased saturation really pops this image giving it a wonderful sense of impact. Perfect image for Spring. |
