Hi Terry, the image covey a great mood and the boat is in a good point if following the rule of thirds. If you crop from the left be sure to crop to keep the boat in the same place as that place adds to the image. Your grayed tones add to the interest of the image and the open space has just enough slight detail to add to the impact of the space. Nicely done. |

Your choice of technique and elimination of the top background really sets this image off. I gave it an even tighter crop to bring the focus more on the baby. Your technique with the variety of directionality of the sketching adds to the interest. Nice image |

Pat, lucky for you they were coming at you so they all look sharp. I agree with you on the taller man in back and Cindy's man at the fence. This image has strong interest with the obvious forward effort of the skaters and especially the lead skater. With the slight v shape of the skaters and the variety of color there is a lot of visual interest and feeling of movement. I am always impressed with AlienSkin SnapArt and its preset effect is nicely done. |

I love having my cell phone with me as then I always have a camera for those special opportunities. It still amazes me what great pictures they produce. Your crop really enhances the image and I enjoy the brush texture and presets on the petals. Removing some of the background enhanced the image too. Nice work. |

Wow Cindy, this is unbelievably realistic and yet definitely with a painterly feel. I am equally inspired with the way you incorporated the trees in the background and the way you handled the foreground. Your painting of the animals have wonderful harmonious tones and appropriate shadows. Getting the Shadows correct tends to be my biggest problem. The only thing you might want to consider is darkening the bright tones of the "road Kill" ears as my eye tends to go them first. The rest of your tones, highlights and shadows to me are spot on and I am impressed with the way you captured the face and paws of the wolf with so much detail and yet still creating a very painterly image. Lovely work. |

Thank you Cindy. I too am enjoying the unique feel of the Charcoal brush and the look. So thankful there is an eraser brush, too which I use a lot. Delighted we are working together on this. I look forward to seeing some of your work. |
