The brush textures and saturated color add to the overall improvement to your well composed original. Nicely done. May 7th
56 May 20 Comment Just lovely Pat. I like the effect of "oil paint" on the petals but plain in the center with the touch of yellow in several places. Yellow is a very bright light color and your slight touch of yellow really leads my eye to the center. Using the purple tones of the Iris in the background was an excellent choice to give a sense of uniformity and harmony. I agree it all goes together nicely. Yes May Day - A beautiful flower is perfect for this time of year. Very clever and a very attractive image. May 7th
56 May 20 Comment Very attractive. I often take pictures of trees and weeds like this. I find their unique shapes fascinating. I really like your choice to use the texture. Its slight nature details in the background complement the details in the tree. It also has a slight nature look to it. Excellent choice. I also feel your warm tones and selective editing were good choices. Nicely done. May 7th
