This background adds so much to the dancer. You may want to incorporate the suggested ideas from Trey and Cindy. An addition area to consider is using a soft blend brush cutting into the background and around the dancer to make a more painterly transition so the pillar and dancer do not appear as a cutout. I took the liberty to just use a soft Mixer brush around the edges of the pillar and the dancer to give you a visual of what I mean as a suggestion. You can probably do this much better than I in Painter
Your beautiful painted detail on the dress and the shadow additions add to the impact of the image |

Hi Cindy, lovely painted background and the arrangement of three adds to the impact. The green is a very attractive tone with the browns and I really like the transition of the necks of the horses into the background. I bet if you softened the horse's features with more brush strokes we might think they were real. |

Terry, I like the crop you used. It makes the sitting man the subject but the man walking away does add the drama and story. You didn't discuss the technique you used but it is effective and adds another quality of art to the image. |

What a nice composite with the three images. I think your center image adds a wonderful diagonal impact with the blowpipe. The background is really attractive in color and adds an additional sense of impact. You have been given some valid constructive points and I support them, too. The problem, I see is the figures on each side of the center one, are white and my eye is drawn to them immediately and yet they are not really the main subject.

Your use of the presets added punch and color to your image. I really like the tones of the resulting blues and tans |
