I am glad you like it. I am never sure my visual feedbacks will be received well. I truly love the colors. Just so you know it is not a crop, I removed the sky and just moved a second copy of the image below this layer to fill in the cut sky. It is not correctly done and is really rough, but does give you a different idea to work from. |

Gerhard, your creative work in eliminating the one elephant on the left side to me appears to really enhance the composition. This is absolutely a beautiful painting.
I see what Cindy is referring to, but wonder if just bringing back into view a bit more of the baby's body would connect it a bit better with the other elephants.
Your skills in handling the software to create this effect is impressive. I particularly like the blue and yellow orange tones as they complement each so nicely. Just a stunning image. |

What a fabulous image and it looks like this bear is posing for you. The recent painting here I like a bit better. In looking at Original 2 in the water, there is a texture that isn't here. That texture may have been a type of canvas look and while a canvas texture might add to a painted piece , you could add it again but not so heavily. I think this this new painting looks more painterly. Your water drips look very good from the fish but the spray above might be removed as it isn't real clear to my eye at first that it is spray of water as visible in the original 1. |

What a grand view and how lucky you were to catch the train coming through at this moment in time. How long did you have to wait? Perfect location and your capture was at a great precise moment with steam too. WOW. Paul and I have spent hours getting something like this in Colorado. It just doesn't happen. We researched the time tables, where the sun was, where there was a curve, and where there was a grade where more power was needed so the engineer would need more power. I know something like this requires considerable planning. Very, very nice.
I enjoy your painted version and appreciate the details of your process. I never bought Alien Skin but really think this program adds a unique look and a high quality painting effect. |

Hi Elinor, I find the colors absolutely stunning and the shades of reds, oranges yellows and greens so striking in terms of interest. I too feel that removing some of the branches allowed the tree in the foreground to blend better to the entire image and autumn trees in bloom play a more dramatic focus. To my eye the gray sky appears to be quite dark in relationship to the lovely bright colors and I played around with a different look. Just an idea. |

I find your image of rectangles and diagonal lines very creative. I find the ability to see beyond and through the glass adding so much to the interest in this image. It does somewhat look like reflections too which adds even more interest. I find the tones soft. and complementary tones of orange and blue attractive and adds to the strong appeal in this image.
It is possible the diagonal line of the top window panes is what your artistic eye enjoyed and the image is stunning to me too. I found though that since the window panes were all straight except for the top row, that correcting that row appealed more to my eye. Just an an area to consider, I included the my review image. Thank you for sharing this new software - It certainly warrants looking into. |

I love topaz and what it can do and even if I am using painter or Mixer Brush I love to see its possible effects. I believe it is a good working strategy. Also, you found a great preset here and to me it works perfectly. I feel your artistic eye saw a great image and glad the camera was handy. The painting added so much to the image.
I know your image is straight,( by looking at the tree on the left,) but my eye still wants to straighten the horizon. Just an idea. See Digital review where I used warp to give it more of a straighter horizon.
I feel the rain really. enhanced the saturation which adds so much and makes the image pop. To me, the lavender plant in the foreground and and small spots of color through-out the image adds depth of field and interesting and the foreground plant acts as a strong point of interest supporting and complimenting the nice leading line of the path into the garden. |
