Welcome to the group Elinor. I think you are doing wonderfully well with Painter. I have Painter 2018 but get blocked by the process and often just refer to the easier methods using filters. Your work has encouraged me to continue with Painter. It has a different look. I love the background and the variety of tones you painted in the lily. |

Jeanine, I really enjoy the textures and emotional feeling you captured using Impressions. Your painting really enhanced the orginal image.
Thank you for the information about the setting too.

Welcome Gerhard, lovely painted image. I really like the technique. Since you did all this in PScc you must of used the mixer brush. It really adds a nice texture feel to your painting. I am taking a class on PSCC painting in June and anxious to enhance my skills with PSCC, too.
I agree with the other comments on a light texture feel to the background. The stark white takes my eye away from your painting on first impressions. |

Hi Pat, Clever use of two painting effects. You really made the walls come alive with color. They just pop. |

Cyril, your impasto technique looks fabulous here. It does add to the image, however, it just goes to prove one must start with a fabulous original photography too.

Thank you everyone. You are right a nice sky would have added a nice touch. I can try that. I have included the full impasto. I feel it is a bit over the top. |
